Through generous donations from local merchants, including Lowes Home Improvement, the Clinic offers raised bed gardens for a nominal rental fee to our patients and residents of the Linden area.
We have partnered with our neighbors to grow, maintain and harvest these gardens for fresh produce each year.
All excess produce from non-rented bed space is maintained by Pastor Dan Green and the harvest is offered free of charge to our patients each week. The healthy food options are so appreciated by our patients - especially our diabetic patients seeking a healthy lifestyle to manage their disease.
Community remains a focus, as Dr. Hardin wished. The Clinic has formed a relationship with Linden-McKinley High School. Our physicians, nurses and staff have donated their time and talents for two years running to provide no-cost OHSAA sports physicals to student athletes.
We visit the high school once a year and provide physicals, food and fun for the athletes. Kroger generously donates lunch for our volunteers and students, Ohio States Sports Medicine physical therapists were on hand to help conduct the physicals and Kroger pharmacists provided valuable vaccination information.
